Welding electrodes Monolith 7018-1

AWS A5.1 / SFA-5.1: E7018-1
CSA W48: E4918-1 H8
EN ISO 2560-А-E 46 5 В 3 2 Н5
Terms of use
  • Electrodes with a diameter of 2 (5/64) to 4 (5/32) mm (in) are designed for welding in all spatial positions, except for the vertical method from top to bottom, with a diameter of 5 (3/16) mm (in) - for lower, horizontal on vertical plane and vertically from bottom to top.
Special properties
  • electrodes are characterized by increased welding productivity and strength of the joint metal with special metallurgical purity and low content of diffusible hydrogen in the deposited metal
  • possibility of welding on alternating current excludes the action of the magnet blowing
  • stable transfer of electrode metal during welding ensures the low spatter, better formation of the weld joint and ease of welding work performance
Monolith 7018-1 is general purpose, low-hydrogen, easy-to-use electrode (easy weld on AC, DC+) with good mechanical properties for welding of mild steels. Monolith 7018-1 is an excellent all around performer with good welder appeal, covering many applications for mild and low alloy steels, performs well on low open circuit voltage. It could be used in bridge construction, welding structural steel, general construction.
