Stainless Welding Rods Monolith ER309L

AWS A5.9: ER309L
CSA W48: ER309L
EN ISO 14343-A-W-23 12 L
Terms of use
  • Welding is performed with direct current, using Argon as the shielding gas.
  • Operating temperature of welded joints up to 1000°C (1832 F).
Special properties
  • High corrosion resistance of deposited metal.
  • Low carbon content reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion.
  • Ferrite content in the deposited metal after welding is ~5.5% (FN ~9).
Stainless welding rods Monolith ER309L have properties and uses similar to 309LSi, but are recommended in cases where a high silicon content is undesirable. Widely used in the chemical, oil, and food industries for assembling pipelines, manufacturing various containers, etc., as well as in mechanical engineering.
